Independent project test run. Next time I do this I want more detail in the ink and want to focus more on single colors. Love the all blue ones, will probably do more with that. None of these have been edited or enhanced in anyway. 

Diptychs and Triptychs

Diptychs and triptychs fall under series photography. Usually matched up, connected to eachother to make up one piece, creating the series.  I  think that they're used when one picture isn't enough to sum up the object, person, or event.

Cubism

Cubism: multiple photographs combined to create a single photograph/ image. Similar to photo collages, mosaics, or montages. Originally developed in the 20th century by painters like Picasso, eventually was introduced into photographic techniques. 

Couldn't find the artists names for any of these but I love that they combined motion with cubism. Would love to figure out how to do this.

The sculptures that Yates creates are really intriguing. I love how he doesn't just take a bunch of little photos and creates it into a larger photo, he creates a sculpture out of it. Making it bigger with different materials makes the overall image more appealing and pleasurable to look at.

Love the detailing that goes into Chris' work in these three representational cubism pieces. Probably my favorite photocubism artist, besides David Hockney if he were to be classified just based off his cubism work.
